A cold Coopers Beer, or a bottle of Radford Shiraz.
In your opinion is a screw top better than cork? If so why?
For me, yes. It at least doubles the life of any wine I reckon, or more. I’ve tried 35yo Pewsey Vale Rieslings under Stelvin, and while they’ve aged beautifully, they still have life in them and more to give! With a screwcap you have confidence over individual bottles. As long as they have been stored the same, they should be approximately the same – far less variation between bottles. Either the whole batch is stuffed, or it is good (or fabulous).
