Jeff Bond appointed General Manager

Renowned Barossa Valley winemaker Peter Lehmann Wines Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jeff Bond as General Manager from 1 July 2010.
Managing Director Doug Lehmann retired at the end of the 2009/10 financial year after 20 years of developing the business into a highly successful wine company. Doug will become Deputy Chairman of the Peter Lehmann Wines Limited board from 1 July 2010.
Peter Lehmann Wines Limited is majority owned by Swiss based Hess Family Estates LTD and "We're happy to welcome Jeff to the Peter Lehmann Wines family," said HFE Chairman Donald Hess. "He brings with him a deep knowledge of the industry and the markets in which we operate.”
Jeff was awarded his Bachelor of Business Management (Marketing) from the University of South Australia and since then has gained valuable experience in the Asian, North American and Australian regions. Over his 17 years experience in the food and beverage industry Jeff has developed and implemented strategies to deliver growth for global brands.
“Jeff’s expertise is in creating innovative consumer focused strategies and plans which deliver profitable growth and this makes him a great addition to the Peter Lehmann Wines’ team," says Mr Hess. "I'm confident he'll play a key role in our future growth as we continue to make outstanding premium wines for distribution in Australia and in our key markets of Europe and the USA.”
Jeff and his family are happy to be back in Adelaide. They returned to South Australia in 2009 for Jeff to take up the Global Marketing Director role with Constellation Wines Australia.
This will be Jeff’s first position as General Manager and he will provide leadership to the experienced executive team and loyal group of staff.
